Bikes stolen from top Belgian team
Last night, the Silence-Lotto has suffered an expensive theft.
16 racing bikes and a number of spare wheels have been stolen last night from the Silence-Lotto lorry
Altogether, 8 racing bikes and 8 reserve bikes used by our riders at Grosseto (Italy).The team has informed the Grosseto organizers that they have no possibility to continue the event.
The theft was done by an organized gang: they first broke a couple of windows from a team's car, and pushed it away to have access to the open lorry.
By chance, Silence-Lotto are well insured by Callant Insurances at Bruges.

Ex-Lotto pro Jo Planckaert set off for Italy on Saturday afternoon, driving a truck with more team bikes so the team can continue their Italian campaign.
