Woulter WeylandtNokere Koerse
Shopaholic Weylandt wins

Nice to see Quick Step's Tom Boonen-in-waiting, Wouter Weylandt win Nokere Koerse on Wednesday.

The Ghent rider who says his hobby is "Shopping, and Ghent is the best place in the world to do it", won in a sprint from Jurgen Roelandts of Silence-Lotto and High Road's UCI Pro Tour leader, Andre Greipel.

"I knew that this is a race I could win, so now it is nice to have done it", 23 year old Weylandt said afterwards. Obviously a man with his eye on a bigger picture.

Nokere Koerse is a tough race, so it was also good to see Dan Lloyd in the mix at the end for 17th place.

Lloyd, whoDan Lloyd is a possible for the
British Olympic team, spent last year racing for DFL under the directorship of Belgian Classic's legend, and bubbly perm style-meister, Eric Vanderraeden who rated him as the best DFL rider.

More from Vanderaeden on that later.
