Junior Brits score in Hasselt

A team of seven junior women are looking good for this weekend's international track event in Ghent's Blaarmersen track after a strong performance at the Hasselt track on Monday night.
European junior points champion Alex Greenfield (Pinarello) won the scratch race and took second in the points. The other members of the squad also raced strongly and have been doing rolling 3km team pursuit efforts as well as long road rides as they prepare for the weekend.
"The weather is great," said Olympic Development Programme women's coach Simon Cope, "we went out on the road and hardly saw a car. We did about two and a half hours down to Oudenaarde and just clipped some of the climbs."
The seven GB girls are: Greenfield, Corinne Hall, Hannah Mayho, Katie Colclough, Sarah Reynolds, Lucy Martin and Dani King.
